C3 Latino Young Professionals was officially formed in May of 2023 and is a non-profit organization. We were founded on the idea that this is an organization for us, and by us! We saw a need for a supportive and safe space for young Latinos - one which would allow us to be vulnerable, be challenged, and be ourselves - all while advocating for professional development and opportunities.
Together we are cultivating a community of well-rounded young professionals in DFW through our relationship-centered programming focused on comunidad, cultura, y cambio!
We understand the importance of community building through authentic relationships and connections - stuffy networking events aren’t our thing - we want to connect with you! We value each other as more than colleagues - somos familia. Chances are our gatherings will feel more like getting together with all your favorite primos!
Our members value the rich heritage of our roots. By embedding our culture into our programming we are embracing our Latino/a identity and fostering an environment for authenticity. This group celebrates culture and encourages inclusivity.
We believe in equitable access to professional development, opportunities, and resources. Many Latino professionals face systemic barriers that can limit their career advancement. Equitable access can help close these gaps and provide them with the tools they need to succeed. Equitable access ensures that Latino professionals have the opportunity to contribute their unique skills and insights. By investing in young Latino professionals, we are empowering them to become leaders in their fields and inspire future generations. When Latino professionals thrive, their communities benefit as well. They are more likely to give back, create jobs, and contribute to economic growth.
